| Detail | Modern design with green touch color for a big apartment in Shanghai residential area. This project has been realized around the features of a couple with two kids with a special passion for cooking, reading, green and the consideration of their lifestyle has shaped the space layout. Modern furniture, mixed with Asian pieces create the perfect atmosphere for a house where friends are often invited to cook together around the kitchen island, directly connected with the dining area through a black metal frame sliding door. The 200 sqm layout includes 3 bedrooms, 1 study room, 3 toilettes and a big living room visually and physically connected with the curved shaped balcony where are located many plants, another customer passion. Functionality is closely accompanying the design: to best accomplish the clients request, every cabinet is customized to mostly optimized the storage possibilities of the space. The lines are clear and net with a touch of classic style in the skirting, in the ceiling frame and doors. Gray scale colors for terrazzo floor, white paint for walls and black lines for magnetic lighting tracks, frames and bathroom taps are the perfect base to emphasize the different shadows of green in the fix and movable furniture in all rooms, including toilettes characterized by different tiles shape. Like carpets, the walnut fishbone floor draws different area in the home and brings a warm atmosphere together with the natural fiber wallpaper for wardrobes doors and brass details for handles, mirrors and lamps. |
