| Details | This project has been designed for a French/Croatian couple living in Shanghai with 2 kids. The apartment is in an old building from FFC and one of the main reasons for their decision to purchase the space was their love for old and authentic properties. From the beginning their requirement was to keep the old feeling of the interiors yet refreshing the style of the apartment. The structure of the apartment itself has been kept, together with the curved walls, typical from the architecture of the 30’s 40’s and the glass and iron windows, totally renovated, but keeping the style of the existing ones. Mosaic floors have been integrated in the apartment. The house is distributed on 2 floors, on the first floor, the living room, two bedrooms for the kids, both includes customized alcove beds, bathroom with mosaic floors and glazed ceramic tiles. On the same floor we have a kitchen connected with the dining area with a long black lacquered cabinet. Master bedroom is located on the second floor and has a bow window area with many pillows to relax and read. Nearby, the bathroom is divided in two different areas with an exclusive space for the bathtub. A big walk-in closet with green lacquered cabinets and many mirrors to enlarge the space, complete the master bedroom area. Nearby the study room, with a big glass wall looking on the private terrace with a big fountain and concrete benches where people can sit and relax.
